OREANDA-NEWS Nizhny Novgorod entered the hundred of the safest cities in the world, being in 53rd place. In total, 328 cities participated in the study.
The city has been assigned a safety index of 72.97. In addition to Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg (133rd place and 60.57 points), Moscow (143rd place with an index of 59.35), Yekaterinburg (198th place and 53.21 points), as well as Novosibirsk who scored 52.36 and took the final 204th place.

The most dangerous cities were the capital of Venezuela, Caracas - the city recognized as the most dangerous on the planet - with a score of 14.74 points, followed by Pietermaritzburg, South Africa - 17.06 points, the criminal bronze went to the capital of Papua New Guinea Porto Morsby - 18, 79 points.
