OREANDA-NEWS. Leaders of NATO member countries will discuss relations with Russia and arms control at the London summit after the termination of the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles. This was announced on Friday by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference on the eve of the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance in London on December 3-4.
"We will also discuss Russia. All NATO members are a single link regarding the behavior of Russia. We agree that the INF Treaty violation is aggressive. But our actions will be balanced and constructive", he said. According to Stoltenberg, the alliance doesn't see Russia's aggressive actions against member countries, but should respond to the growth of Moscow's military capabilities.
Stoltenberg also repeated the accusations of the alliance against Russia that Moscow allegedly violated the INF Treaty, on the basis of which Brussels and Washington blame Russia for the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from this treaty.
