OREANDA-NEWS In Russia, there is a shortage of workers with secondary or specialized secondary and higher technical education. Experts on personnel search complained about it, writes RIA Novosti with reference to a study by the company HeadHunter.
According to researchers, in 43 percent of cases there are not enough workers with secondary or specialized secondary education, which include turners, mechanics at the plant and others. From them, the employer expects first of all fair work and discipline (56 percent), specialized knowledge (55 percent), as well as readiness for retraining and advanced training (37 percent).
However, candidates mostly show professional skills (31 percent), and only after that conscientiousness (28 percent) and readiness to learn (20 percent).
Meanwhile, the shortage of workers with higher technical education is 41 percent. From them, employers are primarily waiting for specialized knowledge (73 percent), possession of IT systems and programming skills (49 percent), as well as integrity and discipline (43 percent).
But they often show specialized knowledge (43 percent). Programming skills are found in only 31 percent. The ability to use non-specialized computer programs is at 30 percent.
