OREANDA-NEWS Another second-year student at Moscow State University has measles. The Department of Rospotrebnadzor has launched an epidemiological investigation.

"Currently, the circle of contact persons has been determined. Comprehensive measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the disease," the report says.

All necessary regulations have been sent to the management of the educational institution, including restrictions on full-time attendance of students and teachers unvaccinated from measles.

Earlier, Zoya Skorpileva, an immunologist and candidate of medical Sciences, called measles one of the most dangerous controlled infections, along with rubella, mumps, diphtheria and chickenpox. Measles is mainly imported in Russia, she said.
