OREANDA-NEWS  In the Tyumen region, traffic was restricted on the highway towards Kazakhstan due to flooding. This was reported by the authorities of the Russian region, RIA Novosti reports.

We are talking about the section from the 56th to the 57th kilometer of the Ishim - Kazanskoye regional highway - the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kazansky district of the Tyumen region.

On April 17, it became known that evacuation began in the Ishim district of the Tyumen region due to the threat of flooding.

The district administration asked citizens to take their documents, personal belongings and medicines with them.

Earlier, in the Tyumen region, due to the flood situation, evacuation was announced in 11 settlements at once. The Ministry of Emergency Situations explained that in order to minimize the possible consequences of flooding in the Kazan municipal district, the department's airmobile group is working.
