OREANDA-NEWS  In the Orenburg region, as a result of a dam break, 10,168 residential buildings and 18,471 private plots were in the flood zone. This was announced by the press service of the governor and the government of the region in Telegram.

A total of 6,127 people, including 1,478 children, were evacuated from flooded households and household plots. In addition, 47 bridges in the 31st municipality are closed to traffic. It is clarified that the most difficult situation is observed in the city of Orsk. 6641 residential buildings with a private plot were flooded there.

Earlier it was reported that the level of the Ural River in Orenburg passed an unfavorable value of 760 centimeters and reached 864 centimeters. According to the Orenburg hydrometeorological center, the dangerous level is 930 centimeters.
