OREANDA-NEWS The number of contracts for free supply of highways to sites within the framework of the social gasification program in Russia has exceeded 1.1 million, 900 thousand of them have already been fully fulfilled, and the number of those wishing to receive this service is constantly growing, said the head of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

"The implementation of the social gasification program, which was launched on behalf of the president, is actively underway. The total number of contracts concluded for the free supply of highways to the sites exceeded 1 million 100 thousand, of which 900 thousand have already been fully fulfilled," Mishustin said on Monday at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

According to him, in those settlements where there is a technical possibility of conducting communications, over 90% of homeowners have applied for such a service.

"The number of applicants is constantly growing, which indicates the extremely high demand for the program almost throughout the country. Thanks to her, more than half a million private homes were connected to gas, which means that the quality of life of people has significantly increased there, and the environmental situation has improved due to the abandonment of stove heating," the head of the Cabinet added.
