The Prime Minister noted that Russia cannot suspend its membership in the organization, but only withdraw from it, however, there are reasons why the country cannot do this.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers added that if Russia leaves the organization, the other participating countries will be able to introduce various joint measures against the Russian Federation.

"This is a very serious issue and it means that it is simply, let's say, even incommensurable with the list of countries that have imposed sanctions against us today, 35 in my opinion, 36 - there is somewhere such a figure that I recently looked at," he concluded.
