Mishustin Announced the Filing of 2.5 Million Applications on the First Day of the Start of New Payments for Children

OREANDA-NEWS. More than 2.5 million applications have been submitted for receiving payments for children from 8 to 17 years old to families with low incomes. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, reports TASS.
More than 3.5 million children can receive these payments through these applications. The head of government noted that families would receive the necessary funds through the Russian Post or through a transfer to their parents' cards.
You can apply through the public services portal, multifunctional centers or to the pension fund.
In May, the money will be received immediately for April and May, Mishustin specified.
New payments to Russian citizens began to be transferred from May 11. Applications for relevant benefits began to be accepted from April 26 in Russia, and from May 1 in Moscow.
The amount of the monthly allowance will depend on the income of the family. It can be 50% of the subsistence minimum per child in the region, this is the basic amount of the payment. It can also be 75% of the subsistence minimum or 100%, depending on family income.
