OREANDA-NEWS Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the country is fighting a cynical enemy. He announced this in a video greeting of women from March 8, published on his Telegram channel.

Medvedev stressed that women fulfill an important mission — to give life and create an atmosphere of kindness and love for their relatives. He added that Russians inspire men to achieve things and help them find strength.

"The constant pursuit of excellence is the main principle that allows you to achieve maximum results in a variety of areas, in everything you do. This is especially important today, when we are going through very difficult trials, fighting back against a cynical and dangerous enemy, defending our Homeland at the front and in the rear, bringing victory closer," he said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women on International Women's Day. In his opinion, Russians cope with a lot of problems and troubles while remaining charming.
