OREANDA-NEWS  Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the Russians on Victory Day. In his Telegram channel, he published a picture showing the raising of the Victory Banner on the roof of the Reichstag in 1945.

"Happy Victory Day!", — Medvedev signed the iconic picture.

Earlier, Russian cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and Andrey Fedyaev congratulated the Russians on Victory Day from the ISS. The cosmonauts recalled the need to preserve the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War. "Let's preserve and multiply the memory of the participants of that terrible time, telling about their heroism through generations!", the message says.
