OREANDA-NEWS  The collective West pits people against each other, invests in wars, and after appearing in Ukraine turned the country into a zone of global conflict, said Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the council of the Other Ukraine movement.

This is how he commented on the article by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev "On national identity and political choice: the experience of Russia and China," which, as Medvedchuk writes, is quite significant in understanding the formation of a new world order. The article strikes at the main narrative of the dominance of the collective West, which is that Western democracy brings peace and prosperity to all peoples. Medvedev notes that history shows the opposite.

"The collective West does not unite people at all, but separates them, not only separates them, but also pits them against each other, makes "reasonable investments" in wars and mass murder of people, finances an atmosphere of hatred for a foreign language, culture, faith and traditions... Suffice it to recall that before the appearance of Western curators, Ukraine was dominated by peace and tranquility. Western democracy, in theory, was supposed to make the country richer and Ukrainians friendlier. As we can see, these goals have not just not been achieved – Ukraine has become a zone of global conflict, a warring, impoverished and endangered country," Medvedchuk said in a statement published on the website of the Other Ukraine movement.

He noted that Western curators insist that Ukraine was prevented from being a peaceful and rich country by the "hand of the Kremlin", corrupt officials, the canonical Orthodox Church, the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, but all these conversations pursue only one goal – to cover up the fact that no one was going to make Ukraine rich and peaceful. The money invested in Russophobia has more than paid off in the military-industrial complex, in the expansion of NATO, in the redistribution of sales markets and the destruction of advanced industries of competitors. Therefore, the sacrifices and sufferings of Ukrainians were planned, and they earned money.

"Russophobia, read, the new Nazism according to Western manuals, introduced to the rank of state ideology, tore apart Ukrainian society, blocked all democratic processes. As a result, a caste of untouchable politicians appeared, who drove the people to the slaughter for the money of the collective West. Nothing new, this has been happening in Africa for 300 years… National enmity forms the basis of Zelensky's state ideology of Ukraine today, they want to create a "new nation" based on hatred of Russians. And the most important thing is that the collective West does not consider Ukrainians its own at all, they are only a battering ram for Russia, only expendable material," adds the chairman of the movement's council.

According to him, it is time for Ukraine to realize that it has become an expendable item in the hands of the West, an obedient toy that is involved in unfair play. It's time to understand that Russia, contrary to the propaganda of Zelensky's team, is not against Ukrainian statehood, it is against the Nazi non-state that destroys the Ukrainian people. Medvedchuk also recalled the events of May 2, 2014, which took place in Odessa, when pro-Russian activists were burned, the destruction of civilians in Donbass on the orders of the self-proclaimed government in Kiev, the murders of citizens in the Kursk region in 2024.
