OREANDA-NEWS. The edition Daily Beast reports on an unpublicized document of the White House in which the US administration informs about 18 states that are in the “red zone” due to the rate of spread of coronavirus infection, and urges them to return to tougher restrictions.

The publication says that the document was prepared for the White House Coronavirus Task Force and circulated to members of the government, and then it was obtained by the American nonprofit investigative journalism organization named the Center for Public Integrity.

18 states entered the so called “red zone” of the spread of COVID-19, since last week there were more than 100 new cases per 100 thousand people. The list includes California, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
