OREANDA-NEWS First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov tested an experimental version of the Lada e-Aura equipped with an electric motor, the Manturov secretariat reported.

"First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Denis Manturov held a meeting of the Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ JSC, and also tested an experimental version of Lada e-Aura equipped with an electric motor," the message says.

The Lada Aura model is based on the Lada Vesta platform. The premium-class novelty features a rear-row passenger compartment enlarged by 25 centimeters, its interior is made in Russian-made genuine leather. The car is equipped with a 1.8 liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower and an automatic transmission.
