OREANDA-NEWS  It is necessary to increase diplomatic efforts and ensure that the parties to the conflict in Ukraine return to the negotiating table, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview with France Inter.

The French leader noted that future negotiations should take place on terms acceptable to the Ukrainian side.

"We must continue our efforts to support Ukraine by supplying artillery equipment and defensive systems," Macron added (quoted by Le Parisien), saying that it is necessary to double support so that Ukrainians can "survive the winter."
