OREANDA-NEWS   Half of the Russian-Chinese trade turnover is serviced in national currencies, the indicator will increase, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country on Wednesday speaks at a press conference dedicated to the results of the work of domestic diplomacy in 2022.

"Without making any moves that could undermine relations with China  in practical terms and harm economic operators, we are gradually moving with China towards reducing dependence on Western instruments and Western unreliable partners in general," Lavrov said.

The Foreign Minister stressed that half of the trade turnover of the two countries is in rubles and yuan. According to him, the indicator is rapidly increasing.
