OREANDA-NEWS  The updated concept of Russia's foreign policy provides for the need to stop the West's monopoly on defining the framework of international life, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, speaking at the government hour in the State Duma. 

According to him, these frameworks should be determined on the basis of a balance of interests and the UN Charter.

According to the minister, now they are trying to interfere with Russia, they are trying to throw it back decades or even disrupt the development of the country under the slogans of decolonization and "preparation for the collapse of Russia."

"The Anglo-Saxons and the rest of the collective West, which implicitly obeyed them," want to impose their dictate in world affairs at any cost, the Foreign Minister stressed. They want to control the conditions for the development of all mankind for the sake of their own domination in the world, Lavrov said.
