OREANDA-NEWS Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he discussed with Kazakh President Kassymzhomart Tokayev the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Astana on November 27.

"I just had a long meeting with President Kassymzhomart Tokayev. We discussed, first of all, preparations for President Putin's state visit to Astana, the visit will take place on November 27, on the eve of the CSTO summit, which will also be held in the Kazakh capital," the minister told reporters.

Lavrov noted that during the negotiations, the parties noted the high degree of readiness of several dozen documents for Putin's visit to Astana, including the statement of the presidents.
