OREANDA-NEWS  Relations between Russia and China are currently going through the best period in their centuries-old history, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Relations with China are going through the best period in their centuries-old history. It is especially valuable for us that Xi Jinping paid his first state visit to Moscow in March 2023 after his re-election as President of the People's Republic of China," Lavrov said at a press conference following the results of 2023.

He stressed that the Chinese economy is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, along with the Indian one.
