OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived at the UN headquarters in New York, where he will preside over an open debate at the ministerial level of the Security Council. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

On July 16, the Russian Foreign Minister will preside over a debate on multilateral cooperation, and on July 17 — at a debate on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian issue.

It is noted that a number of states have expressed their desire to hold meetings in a bilateral format.
