OREANDA-NEWS The development of ultra-modern laser and radio frequency weapons that can "revolutionize the battlefield," began in the UK. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom. 

The ministry plans to create three samples of directed energy weapons in order to study the potential of combat technologies and put them into operation. 

The developed complexes can be powered by a car engine or a generator, which will significantly reduce their operating costs. Laser systems use high energy light beams to destroy enemy aircraft (drones and rockets). Radio frequency weapons disrupt enemy electronics.
