OREANDA-NEWS  Kazakhstan is awaiting the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin and hopes to discuss a number of projects with him. This was announced by the country's ambassador to Moscow, Dauren Abayev, RIA Novosti reports.

He expressed the hope that by the time Putin arrives in the republic, even more projects will appear on paper, and then they will go into the implementation process. The Ambassador added that Moscow and Astana are implementing many projects together. Among them are companies such as Sibur, Tatneft, KamAZ, and in general, there are about 135 joint projects between Russia and Kazakhstan, of which about 40 have already been implemented.

Earlier, Kazakh President Kassymzhomart Tokayev said that it was impossible to defeat Russia militarily. He added that in case of an unfavorable development of events, the states directly involved in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will suffer first of all.
