Japanese Round One Will Open 20 Gaming Zones for Youth in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS. The Japanese Round One Corporation, which plans to open a gaming zone in the Evropeisky mall in Moscow in the summer of 2020, told the Russian media about development plans in Russia.
“In Moscow and St. Petersburg, we have planned more than 20 points in the future, if possible,” said a representative of Round One. According to him, about $ 7 million is planned to be invested in the opening of one gaming zone. Thus, the opening of 20 gaming zones will require about $ 140 million (8.7 billion rubles at the current rate).
Round One noted that in the Russian market the main focus of the company is schoolchildren, students and adults, 20- and 30-year-old visitors. The corporation believes that their entertainment will be especially interesting to this audience, especially in indoor gaming centers.
Round One Corporation now operates hundreds of sports and entertainment centers in Japan and more than 30 centers in the United States. In addition to Russia, the corporation plans to open gaming zones in China in the near future. Round One gaming centers combine billiards, karaoke, bowling, darts, table tennis, slot machines, as well as Spo-Cha sports - from the English sport challenge ("sports competition"). Spo-Cha includes basketball, football, badminton, archery and other competitions. Capitalization Round One Corp. at the Tokyo Stock Exchange at the close of trading on Tuesday amounted to ¥ 103.5 billion (about $ 946.2 million).
