OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Economy of Japan has introduced a new package of sanctions against 57 companies from Russia, 27 from Belarus. Restrictions have also been announced against two from the UAE, one from Syria and two from Uzbekistan, RIA Novosti reports.

The measures will come into force on December 22. The restrictions will affect companies such as the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, the Bryansk Automobile Plant, the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik", the Special Design Bureau, the Kazan Powder Plant, the Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics, the Rostov Research Institute of Radio Communications, the 150th Aviation Repair Plant, the 810th Aviation Repair Plant and others.

In total, 494 companies and organizations from Russia are listed, against which Japan has imposed an export ban.

On December 7, the Japanese Ministry of Economy imposed restrictions against nine companies from Russia. In May, the Japanese government also announced additional sanctions against Russia.
