OREANDA-NEWS  The Japanese government is expanding sanctions against Russia due to the situation around Ukraine and, as part of a new package of restrictions, introduces a ban on the export of radioactive materials, vaccines and medical devices, as well as robots from February 3. This is reported on the website of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

The ban includes equipment for nuclear facilities, oil and natural gas exploration, various chemicals, including tear gas and fingerprint powder, as well as equipment for detecting explosives, portable generators, laser welding machines. In total, there are more than 80 items in the new list. According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Tokyo has been imposing an export ban on 49 Russian companies and organizations since January 27. The list includes Tula Arms Factories, the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems, aircraft Repair Plants, the Moscow Aviation Institute, the Gromov Flight Research Institute, the Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise, Aviagregat JSC, TsAGI, Turborus CJSC, the Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering and other enterprises.

Tokyo also imposes sanctions against the Russian corporation Irkut and PJSC KAMAZ.
