Italian Prime Minister Announced Partial Removal of Quarantine Measures from May 4
OREANDA-NEWS. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced the removal of some quarantine restrictions from May 4 and the country’s transition to the second phase of the fight against the epidemic of coronavirus infection.
“From May 4, it will be allowed to conduct training for athletes, but only of national interest from the point of view of sports associations and the Italian Olympic Committee. Production and work on construction sites will be resumed,” the politician said during an online conference.
It is also planned to open catering establishments, but only with take-out services. Parks and gardens will be open, it will be forbidden to gather in large groups. It will be necessary to observe safety measures in the form of keeping distance and using personal protective equipment.
