ISIS Took Responsibility for an Attack on Traffic Police Post in Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. The terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIS) banned in Russia claimed responsibility for an assault on a traffic police post in the city of Magas (Republic of Ingushetia, Russia). This was reported by the Site Intelligence Group, which tracks the activities of Islamists.
According to the statement of the ISIS, two police officers died, although, as Telegram channel Directorate 4 notes, one policeman was officially declared dead.
Unknown persons attacked a traffic police post in Ingushetia on the evening of December 31. According to police, one officer was killed and two were injured. All attackers were neutralized.
As the source of RIA Novosti agency reported, the malefactors were armed with knives. Telegram channel 112 wrote that three men attacked three law enforcement officers.
