OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is discussing with scientific experts the issue of introducing new payments for foreigners who live and work in Russia.

The initiators of this proposal want foreign citizens who are employed by individuals for personal and household needs to pay taxes.

At present, foreigners who live and work in Russia on the basis of a temporary residence permit and a residence permit must each year confirm that they have income and the fact that they live in the country. However, often foreign citizens working for individuals are not able to process all the necessary documents, the Russian Interior Ministry reported.
