India Launched Fighters after Helicopters of Chinese Air Force Appeared near Its Border
OREANDA-NEWS. ANI agency reports, citing sources, that last week, the aircrafts Su-30MKI of the Indian Air Force made an extraordinary flight around the control line in Ladakh after helicopters of the Chinese Air Force were spotted in this region.
According to the publication, the incident occurred almost simultaneously with the skirmish of Indian and Chinese guards on the border of the Indian state of Sikkim and China. About 150 people who participated in the brawl threw stones at each other. Currently the military on both sides has been withdrawn from the scene of the clash.
The agency notes that a number of cases was previously recorded when Chinese military helicopters invaded Indian airspace. The line of actual control, replacing the border between India and China, is poorly demarcated, so sometimes invasions are unintentional.
