OREANDA-NEWS Windows 11 has added a special mode that opens up opportunities for advanced OS configuration. This is reported by PCWorld.

Journalist John Martindale, who found a special way to configure Windows, called it "God Mode". According to the expert, this mode is not something exceptional and was noticed in previous versions of Windows, but they decided to save it and move it to the current OS.

To start the special mode, you need to create a folder on the desktop with the name "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}". Then the standard folder icon will change to the "Control Panel" icon. Martindale said that using "god mode" you can control BitLocker encryption, network settings, Bluetooth devices, as well as create backup copies of files, change the date and time and dozens more system parameters.

"God Mode is a hidden feature that greatly simplifies the configuration of various Windows settings," the PCWorld specialist emphasized. According to John Martindale, to disable this mode, you need to delete the created shortcut folder from the desktop.

At the end of August, PCWorld journalists called Windows 10 a "billboard" of Microsoft Corporation. According to them, the company uses the outdated OS exclusively to promote Windows 11.
