OREANDA-NEWS  The weather in a number of regions of the Russian Federation has worsened, the number of consumers disconnected from power supply at 6.00 Moscow time increased to 228 thousand people, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation reported on the Telegram channel.

As indicated in the ministry's message, the weather situation worsened last night in a number of regions of Russia, which led to new power supply disruptions.

"As of 06.00 (Moscow time): Rostov region: 78.5 thousand people, Donetsk People's Republic – 103.3 thousand people, Luhansk People's Republic – 43.2 thousand people, Pskov region – 3.5 thousand people," the Ministry of Energy cites.

"Power engineers are carrying out emergency recovery work," it was noted there.
