OREANDA-NEWS The Wagner PMCs announced the non-participation of fighters in a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine. Such a message appeared in the Telegram channel "Unloading Wagner".

The organization noted that employees are present only in Africa and Belarus. There are no Wagnerians in the Rosgvardiya, nor in the ranks of the Russian Defense Ministry, nor anywhere else, the representatives of the PMCs explained.

"PMCs Wagner is not participating in a special military operation at this stage. In case of a change in the situation, it will be announced additionally," it was noted in the post.

Prior to that, there were reports in some Telegram channels that Wagner units were located in the Kursk region.

Earlier it became known that the Russian infantry destroyed three scouts of the 22nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

Fighting in the border areas of the Kursk region has been going on for more than two weeks. The Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, has already announced the return of 115 fighters captured near Kursk from Ukrainian captivity.
