OREANDA-NEWS. The regional offices of the St. Petersburg state institution "Center for the Organization of Social Services" began work in all areas of the city.  A new institution was created as soon as possible.  Today, about 80 people have joined the work, but in the near future their number will increase with the opening of new offices.

 Social district officers will receive applications from citizens and draw up an individual program for the provision of social services, receive information from citizens and organizations on those who need social support, draw up a social route and determine the list of organizations involved in social support, and so on.

 According to the head of the social policy committee, Alexander Rzhanenkov, in the coming weeks, an interdepartmental mechanism of interaction will be tested to correct possible shortcomings.
