OREANDA-NEWS Rescuers began to take out the bodies of several victims from under the rubble after an explosion at a factory in Sergiev Posad near Moscow. This was reported by the Telegram channel "112".

According to the publication, the analysis of the rubble will continue. In addition, a state of emergency (emergency) was introduced in the city district.

The authorities of the Moscow region and the administration of Sergiev Posad have not yet commented on the situation.

A powerful explosion at the plant in Sergiev Posad became known on Wednesday, August 9. It was emphasized that the epicenter was a warehouse of pyrotechnics with an area of 1600 square meters.

According to the latest data, 56 people were injured as a result of the explosion. More than fifty apartments in houses that are located near the place of emergency were damaged.

The governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, said that the plant in Sergiev Posad, where the explosion occurred, has nothing to do with optics. He noted that the company has been engaged in the production of pyrotechnics for a long time.

Investigators opened a case on the fact of the incident under Article 217 ("Violations of industrial safety requirements of hazardous production facilities") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
