OREANDA-NEWS The authorities plan to accelerate the construction of the Dzhubga — Sochi highway, which is called the most expensive in Russia. This is reported by kp.ru with reference to the statement of the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergey Krivonosov at the X forum of road initiatives of Avtodor Group.

We are talking about a section of the Kudepsta — Veseloye village road with a length of about ten kilometers. According to the plan, the construction should be completed in 2026. Thanks to this segment, the load on existing routes can be halved, Krivonosov said. The next stage of construction of the Dzhubga — Sochi highway is planned to begin in 2024.

Earlier it became known that the construction of the Dzhubga — Sochi expressway will cost about 1.4 trillion rubles, 600 billion of which are planned to be attracted from extra-budgetary sources.
