OREANDA-NEWS  Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) will ensure the speed of action of the Marines. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to military expert Alexei Leonkov.

According to him, the attacking potential of the formations should be strengthened by new battalions and companies, in particular, the marines. In these conditions, Leonkov believes, the Marines need to act quickly, which will be provided by the Tornado-G MLRS and the Malva howitzers on a wheeled chassis.

The expert added that Tornado-G works faster than Grads, and wheeled Mallows allow for maneuvers. According to him, the relevant weapons "must operate in a single firing circuit of the compound" with the support of drones.

Earlier, the publication, citing sources in the Russian Defense Ministry, reported that the divisions of the Russian Marine corps will be reinforced with attack aircraft and artillery.
