According to him, the main reason for the shortage of workers is the demographic pit. Every year in the last 10 years, 100 thousand fewer young professionals come to the labor market than a year earlier, he explained. The situation was also affected by the coronavirus pandemic, which, according to Zakharov, deprived the labor market of about a million people.

The market lost another two million employees on the background of a special military operation. This number includes both contractors and mobilized citizens, as well as those who left the country, Zakharov added.

The founder of the SuperJob service noted that at the moment mass professions such as drivers, nurses, salesmen and builders are most in demand in the country, while there are enough journalists and directors on the market. Zakharov also noted the shortage of couriers. According to him, the pandemic has given a huge boost to the development of services and delivery, and now such workers can earn more than in production. "Accordingly, people do not go to production, because the courier is paid more than the turner," the expert said.
