OREANDA-NEWS  The dispatch of conscripts of the autumn conscription campaign from assembly points to the troops has begun, the Ministry of Defense (MO) of the Russian Federation told reporters on Tuesday."The bulk of the recruits will be sent to training centers for training in the specialty for 4-5 months. At the recruiting station, each future serviceman is provided with a set of winter uniforms and receives an army dressing case," the department said.

The first solemn ceremonies of sending recruits for military service on conscription in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took place in several regions at once. So, about 150 recruits from the Sverdlovsk region were sent to the Far East, the first Sakhalin conscripts went to the motorized rifle unit of the army Corps of the Eastern Military District (VVO). Also, a solemn dispatch to the military units of the Air Force took place in Khabarovsk, 30 conscripts from the Murmansk region left for one of the military units of the Western Military District.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, about 80 people went to serve in the Moscow region from Bashkiria. In total, the republic will send more than 4 thousand recruits for the autumn draft. Another 50 conscripts went to the Moscow, Rostov and Tambov regions from Sevastopol. Military commissariats of the Southern Military District will send more than 26 thousand people from the territory of the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts to the armed forces as part of the autumn draft.
