OREANDA-NEWS  The Commission of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) on the construction complex and the Russian Union of Builders (RSS) proposed to give summer cottages and garden plots for renovation. The initiative was sent to the Ministry of Construction, Izvestia reports.

They wanted to give plots with private and garden houses for projects of integrated development of territories, they want to make changes to the Urban Planning Code. The decision to include territories of individual housing construction (IHS) in such projects was proposed to be taken through a general vote of residents.

"The very possibility of complex development of the territory with private and garden houses is not something unnatural. However, the rights of the owners should not be infringed. It is necessary to legislatively approve a list of conditions that encourage owners to consent to the demolition of old houses," said Nadezhda Korkka, managing partner of Metrium.
