OREANDA-NEWS. In Russia, they propose to ban the sale of organic products in any plastic packaging.  In particular, even the one created using nanomaterials and nanoparticles.

 The National Organic Union believes that the use of synthetics can affect product cleanliness and consumer health.

 According to international standards, which Russia is guided by, only organic packaging, for example, paper, should be used for organic products.  Since 2020, sales of organic products have started in Russia - produced without the use of chemicals and only by certified manufacturers, which requires a change in the state standard specification for packaging.

 The International Federation of Ecological Agriculture Movements holds the same position.
