OREANDA-NEWS. The Russian government introduced a moratorium for payment of rent and insurance fees by small and medium-sized businesses for three months.

These measures are related to the spread of coronavirus, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the cabinet. “Millions of people are employed in this sector, and it has found itself in an equal difficult situation. Therefore, for three months, starting in March, a delay is introduced for the payment of insurance fees, as well as a temporary delay in the payment of rent for those who rent state or municipal property,” the politician explained.

Mishustin also noted that there is no reason to panic in connection with the spread of infection. According to him, Russia will be able to cope with this challenge, as it has experience in combating epidemics and the necessary resources for it.
