OREANDA-NEWS  Due to the acute shortage of people at the front, the Ukrainian authorities are forced to increase the number of female soldiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service says. Her message leads RIA Novosti.

According to the SVR, referring to the assessment of the West, the number of women in the Ukrainian army exceeded 40 thousand people. They indicated that Kiev has raised the age of conscription of women for military service to 60 years, and also intends to expand the list of female professions subject to mobilization, including doctors.

SVR claims that "American and British curators of Kiev" are behind the recommendations to the leadership of Ukraine to conduct additional mobilization of women.

Earlier, former US Air Force intelligence officer Scott Ritter noted that the Kiev authorities attract women of retirement age to serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
