OREANDA-NEWS In 2025, Russia is going to massively expand roads — the authorities plan to create a fourth lane on 290 kilometers of highways. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, his words are quoted on the website of the Russian Government.

According to the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, this should increase traffic safety and driver comfort. In addition, this will increase the capacity of the country's road frame.

Earlier in Minsk, they planned to provide high-speed Internet along all federal highways. Good access to the network should be available on the roads by 2031. After that, high-speed Internet will be more actively connected on regional highways, said Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia.
