OREANDA-NEWS To satisfy the personnel hunger, 25 million Russians need to be retrained. The found way to balance the labor market was announced by the Agency for Transformation and Economic Development (ATRE), the Vedomosti newspaper reports.
To cope with the problem of shortage of workers by 2030, 4.2 million people a year can be carried out through training and retraining programs for the population. Among them are 2.2 million citizens aged 25-35 years, 1.2 million workers in industries with minimum wages, 300,000 disabled people of the 3rd group, military in reserve, members of the SVO, women on maternity leave and other Russians.
The shortage of personnel was explained not only by demographic features, but also by the ongoing depreciation of vocational education. The salary of workers without education is comparable or higher than that of production employees, while the demand for self-employed, including couriers, is only growing.
Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov stated that the abnormally low unemployment rate slows down the country's economy, and the main problem is the human resource. The qualitative and quantitative shortage of personnel is a serious systemic challenge, the head of the department noted. According to the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, the personnel shortage hinders further economic growth and is especially acutely felt by the mechanical engineering and chemical industries.
According to the deputy speaker of the State Duma Alexander Babakov, the "salary revolution" will help to cope with the shortage of personnel in Russia. Systemic measures are needed in the country to dramatically increase labor productivity, radically increase the stock of production facilities and, accordingly, a rapid increase in wages, he explained.
