OREANDA-NEWS. More than 13 thousand voters voted via the Internet in Moscow within an hour from the start of voting, according to the portal of remote electronic voting.
According to the published data, more than 13 thousand Muscovites made their choice within an hour after the start of electronic voting.
Voting in the Duma and other elections on a single voting day will take place this year from 17 to 19 September, follows from the decision of the CEC. The State Duma is elected for a five-year term under a mixed electoral system: 225 deputies are elected from party lists, another 225 - from single-mandate constituencies in one round.
14 parties have registered federal lists of candidates for the State Duma. According to the draw, in the ballot they will be arranged in the following order: Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Greens, Liberal Democratic Party, New People, United Russia, Fair Russia - For Pravda, Yabloko, Party of Growth, Russian Freedom Party and Justice, "Communists of Russia", "Civil Platform", "Green Alternative", "Motherland" and "Party of Pensioners".
Remote electronic voting this year, according to the decision of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, will be held in Moscow, as well as in six other regions - Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Murmansk and Rostov regions and Sevastopol.
