In Moscow Citizens will Be Able to Get Vaccinated against Coronavirus in Shopping Centers
OREANDA-NEWS. As the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova told reporters on Friday, six out-of-town vaccination points against coronavirus will start operating in Moscow from January 20, among them - Helikon-Opera, GUM, DEPO and Moscow shopping centers.
The vice mayor said that now it is extremely important that as many people as possible can get vaccinated against the coronavirus. To make this process more convenient, the authorities have decided to set up mobile vaccination sites in popular public places. The first 6 will open next week, January 20. They will work at the My Documents flagship office of the Central Administrative District, GUM, Helikon-Opera, DEPO food mall and several shopping centers. Citizens living near these points will receive SMS messages with information about new points and their opening hours. Whenever possible, the authorities invite Muscovites to come for vaccinations in small groups - families, colleagues or friends. Anastasia Rakova explained that this is due to the fact that the vaccine is frozen in five doses. This would make it more convenient for doctors to defrost the drug.
According to the vice-mayor, vaccinations at the outlets in Moscow are free of charge. It will be possible to get vaccinated against coronavirus at the My Documents flagship office of the Central Administrative District in the Afimall City shopping and entertainment center, GUM, DEPO food mall, Helikon-Opera on any convenient day. Also, vaccination will be carried out in the shopping centers "Oceania", "Gorod", "Salaris", "K-153", "COLUMBUS" and "Kaleidoscope".
Rakova added that at these points, mobile teams will work for one week at three-week intervals so that citizens can receive the second component of the coronavirus vaccine at the same vaccination point.
