OREANDA-NEWS   The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) has decided to initiate a vote of no confidence in the Moldovan government and insist on the need to hold parliamentary elections ahead of schedule. This was announced by the chairman of the political association Igor Dodon in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the Socialist Party made such a decision against the background of the ongoing crisis in the energy sector and the inability of the Cabinet of Ministers to protect citizens and the country's economy. He stressed that the actions of the government of Dorin Rechan led to another increase in energy tariffs and caused an increase in inflation.

"The PSRM has prepared all the necessary documents and is initiating the process of resigning the government. We are also confident that the current crisis cannot be resolved without a reboot of the political system. In this regard, the Party of Socialists insists on the need to hold early parliamentary elections as soon as possible," the politician wrote.
