In Mali, schoolchildren performed Soviet songs in Russian

OREANDA-NEWS Students of the Leo Tolstoy private school in Mali performed the famous Soviet songs "At an Unnamed Height" and "Victory Day" in Russian, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy.
"Malian students of the L. N. Tolstoy private school performed the famous Soviet songs "At an Unnamed Height" and "Victory Day" during a protocol event on May 9 at the Russian Embassy in Mali," the publication says.
In the footage presented by the diplomatic mission, children wear Soviet-style caps and St. George ribbons.
The students of the school at the embassy, in turn, read poems dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. As follows from the video, they were holding portraits of their relatives who participated in the war.
