OREANDA-NEWS. In Kiev, police are negotiating with a man who threatens to detonate a bomb at the business center Leonadro.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Herashchenko, announced this on his Facebook page. According to the politician, at 12:00 local time an employee of the Universal Bank located in the business center called the police. She reported that an unknown man under the age of 35 said that he has a bomb in his backpack and demanded to call the police.
Bank employees left the premises, but the head of the branch remained there of his own free will.
“Police representatives began negotiations with the terrorist and suggested that he surrender,” Herashchenko wrote. At the same time, the Deputy Minister urged citizens to avoid passing through the area near the business center Leonadro.
