OREANDA-NEWS In Crimea, as part of the trial, a full list of organizers and performers of the water blockade of the peninsula arranged by Ukraine will be determined, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, told RIA Novosti.

The Arbitration Court of Crimea earlier began consideration on the merits of the first claim for damage to the budget of the republic from the water blockade arranged by Ukraine in 2014. The case is being considered in closed mode. The amount of claims against Kiev is about 153 billion rubles. The defendants in the case are the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Agency of Water Resources of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Department of the North Crimean Canal.

"So far, our lawsuit was about responsibility for criminal actions against the Crimea of the state of Ukraine. But during the process, we are ready to name the specific names of those who initiated this crime and who was its direct perpetrator. Some names were called. The full list will be determined by the court," Konstantinov said.
